All honors classes in MS are open enrollment.  You choose if you want to do honors for any subject.  There is no "test" to prove that you should be in honors classes in MS.[/quote]

I think what PP was saying is "how can one skip from 6th grade math to 8th grade math (i.e. Math7Hon)?" without being totally lost. That would necessarily mean that they never learn the 7th grade math curriculum. This leads me to believe that Math7Hon is actually 7th grade math (i.e. a review of what 6th grade AAP students learned) plus, maybe, an 8th grade curriculum. And that, maybe, [b]8th grade math is just a more in depth version of 7th grade math rather than new material.[/quote][/b]
