I don't disagree with the existence of the liberal bubble, but you have to be a giant dummy not to see that the current perception of the Democratic party as being "too far left" is being driven by GOP propaganda, and not the actual messaging.  If you are getting your news from Fox and believe that all the Democratic candidates are for immediate abolition of the border and don't care about the coming brown menace ... well then, I don't think the problem is the liberal bubble. That's not to say there are not extremists on the left - of course there are - but that's always been the case. If you can't distinguish between the party mainstreams and extremists who have little influence, I don't know what to tell you. [/quote]

Sorry, i forgot to answer:

I don't identify with LGBQT issues. I want my neighborhood to be safe and homeless free (I live in California). I want the government to prosecute drug crimes, which us Democrats have moved away from.  I have three young kids and I really care about the quality of public schools.  I want high achieving classical school curriculums, and programs that help struggling students.

The issue I care most about is the environment and I'm annoyed that it takes the back burner.  I have no problem paying taxes because we must fund our good schools and police and other services....however DO NOT MAKE MINE HIGHER, please, i am begging.  [/quote]
