I got a vasectomy 2 years ago and consider it to be the worst decision of my life. It's really the only decision I have ever regretted. If my wife had cajoled me into getting the surgery, that would certainly be the end of any real intimacy in our marriage.

Vasectomy leaves about 1 guy out of 50 with permanent nerve damage that urologists do not know how to fix. Imagine feeling like you have an ear infection in your groin every day for the rest of your life. Guys are totally rational to want to search for other options.

Are you serious with this? Try living with incontinence the rest of your life because the pregnancy screwed up your bladder function and pelvic floor.  Try raising a kid for 18 years.  Both parties have to come to a reasonable agreement on this and given that SHE will be the one to carry a pregnancy and to do most of the work of childrearing, cause let's face it, that's how it goes, the man needs to suck it up and deal.[/quote]
