It’s shocking the silence on these boards about this event and the fact that seventh and eighth graders were showing up wasted. I think it’s because they are mostly suburban kids that don’t attend schools that people consider elite and that’s why they don’t care? Otherwise it’s hard to figure out why there’s a 100 page thread about one student allegedly drinking at a big three and yet no word about seventh and eighth graders showing up to a party falling down drunk. I have had kids in the schools mentioned at the age mentioned and it never came up as a big event for the kids to attend. Did a handful from one or another attend any given year? Likely. Is it a thing that most of a grade from those schools annually participate in? No.
