My DS only scored slightly above 110 last year on CogAT verbal, but had a score in the high 120s on the WISC Verbal. DS has had no struggles at all in AAP this year, and has been strong in verbal analogies like Wordmasters. For 3rd grade and up, the CogAT uses words rather than pictures. I wish the 2nd grade test included both the word and the picture for the kids who struggle to decipher pictures. [/quote]
