It is 100% normal in our public high school. What is unusual is a kid without a car and those are the kids whose parents struggle with money. The kids who live in apartments. [/quote]

Sure, parking lots are full. But that says nothing. But your implication that only kids who live in apartments and whose families struggle with money don't have cars is highly unlikely to be true. Plenty of regular middle and even upper middle class families don't give cars to their kids. [/quote]
