Usually they are given the option to move down, but, many players tend to either look for other clubs or its pretty common at that age they stop playing competitively at that high of level. It tends to be more of a blow for the parents. They get the reality check that my ds is so elite after all. the boy usually take it ok. While the parents feel embarrassed and left out of the mix.[/quote]

Are they going to wait until the last minute to announce players getting dropped ? If my kid is getting dropped that is fine but I want time to look for another team. [/quote]
