If someone could follow up with the list of players from Any other club that is not ecnl or da that is doing this please post links below.
Most of the crazies will have left well before these results, a loss at the cherry blossom tournament just may be enough for them...
Cherry Blossom is a Tournament run by MSI for MSI teams, and maybe a few other travel teams Only the U13 ECNL GIRLS are doing it, not the boys. No one from Braddock has explained why an ECNL team would play in that. Has nothing to do with getting some easy win, must be some other reason.

Then treats the families like garbage when the see better teams at the same age group. I feel for the pre ECNL 07 families come this spring. The recruiting has begun this winter especially as they move in to 11v11 full field. Its a shame most of these families have been with BRYC since u9 and being replaced by a whole new batch of kids that other clubs have been developing.
As previously asked, how do you know that they are recruiting at 07? Did you speak to the coach? Did parents of those being recruited reach out to you?
Not from the DC area, so I have no dog in this fight.
That said, my daughter is a 2007 pre-ECNL player at a very strong club in the northeast. Our team has kids from other clubs coming in to practice with the team already. This will continue throughout the spring. In a competitive club, this is extremely common. Our club pulls ECNL players from the club's various regions and there are 12 total 2007 girls teams just within the club--that doesn't include outside players who will try out. If two players are equal, you may see loyalty to the player that has been with the club, but if a kid from outside is better, they will get the spot. That's how it is supposed to be.
But are your club coaches going out recruiting or just the natural process of players giving a stronger club a try and see if they are good enough. That is perfectly fine but BRYC is known for going out of their way with coaches actively trying to bring others from outside.
Boohoo...
Spoken like a true parent who derives their value and stature based on the team their kid plays on...

The boys u12 pre ECNL team is about get a complete overhaul at the end of spring. the recruiting (poaching) process has already started . Look for more than a few kids coming over from Arlington as DC united academy players move to there. As well as a few LMVSC coming in too.
So what usually happens to the players already there ? Do they move them down or cut them ?
Usually they are given the option to move down, but, many players tend to either look for other clubs or its pretty common at that age they stop playing competitively at that high of level. It tends to be more of a blow for the parents. They get the reality check that my ds is so elite after all. the boy usually take it ok. While the parents feel embarrassed and left out of the mix.

Sells the dream? Did you miss the links with players going to college... You have to remember this is competitive soccer, if you are looking for a guaranteed home for you're kid for the next 8 years don't play in the ecnl/da.
The same people that are complaining about BRYC are also upset/angry their kids are going to be replaced. Does this mean you actually want to stay at BRYC and it isn't so bad after all...
Please tell me who many from the boys teams are actually getting 100% full scholarships strictly for playing soccer ? don't count other sports or academics or even financial aid for low income. but just 100% full scholarships because of what BRYC has built them into. share the true numbers.
