[/quote] Well, coming from a location abroad that doesn't have this kind of weather, I can understand why winter here is tricky: the County won't waste their money on large winter operations like they have up north, which is financially understandable, yet we do have a few winter events every year. This leaves parents holding the bag, as usual. On top of all the nationwide lack of child-centric policies, such as no maternity/paternity leave, no subsidized daycare, etc, they're expected to have back-up care for their children! It's not right. People are not supposed to be even more stressed out and penalized just because they decided to raise the next generation of Americans. [/quote]
