It has happened in wealthy and poor clusters. You need to talk to your kids about what to look out for and what to do . If you suspect something call the police not MCPS. MCPS has a history of not doing anything. The one good thing about MoCo is that the police department is really good and utterly disgusted by MCPS. They will take the report seriously and know that the school will try to protect the predator.

On the curriculum - do not trust that your child is getting the skills they need. They aren't. Its important to learn math outside the system and read level appropriate books at home. Science is non existent in K-5 and watered down in 6-8. [/quote]
