Nothing in your post indicates why financial contribution to the children is an obligation. Stepparents didnt create the kids, it's the bio parents who did. No one is saying stepchildren need to love the stepparents or vice versa. Maybe if you stop looking at life through rose-tinted glasses, then you'll understand that no one needs to grovel before anyone. [/quote]
