Woman here and I agree that alimony is ridiculous. There's no reason any person on God's green earth shouldn't be able to support themselves once divorced.
And women who had scaled back work or stayed home when their kids were small, thus sacrificing career advancement, including salary increases? Ever read “The Price of Motherhood”?
You made that choice knowing it might bite you in the ass in the future. Team No Alimony
[b] Thats the most ridiculous statement I've seen on this thread. It takes TWO people to make a baby dumbass. And given this logic, you want all women to "roll the dice" and decide to have kids knowing that if their marriage were to ever end they would just have to suck up all their lost income/earning potential for the years they were out of the workforce? This is the society you want to live in?? The social contract of rearing a family is null and void. All women who's marriages end and have kids forfeit any support from the father to compensate for the family rearing duties that took her away from an outside paycheck and to help her get back on her feet while she still has, at a minimum, joint custody? Umm, pretty sure we would have a negative population growth if this is the way the system was set up. You are not only a moron, but a truly horrible person
