The number one rule of driving is to be predictable and not disrupt the orderly progression of traffic.

If it is happening to you on a regular basis, you shouldn't be sitting there at a stop on the merge thinking everyone else is just an asshole. You should be thinking that something is unsafe about your driving, and you should be making a plan to fix that.[/quote]
