I’m 20+ years without an accident I’ve caused, and a very good driver. These are just lousy situations. My solution is to go a different way.
Okay - so I googled this since I couldn't think of any, and I have seen a few of these - and have subsequently avoided them. And I don't blame the people who stop entirely, because I know that there is a subset of drivers in this area that will absolutely not let anyone merge.

Honestly, I Think it's the lack of Driver's Ed in High School's ......one of the Worst things that they took out, right up there with Shop Class, and Home Ec.
