Sounds like a winner to me. [/quote] I agree--yes, it's sad when friends move away, but that doesn't seem like a good reason not to allow a friendship develop if you otherwise like people. I don't see friendships as "investments" that have to pay off. I see them as relationships. And we've benefited from friendships where one party moved away--we have friends that we visit all over the country and all over the world. When we travel, we almost always have friends to spend time with or even stay with. It's great! We'd miss out on some great adventures if we only made friends with people who stayed put. [/quote]
