Obama was a bland President. In my opinion the only way to explain the over the top HATRED of him is racism. W was hated because he got a bunch of troops killed. No other President since like, Nixon/LBJ have been as LOATHED as Obama. It just doesn't make sense.

The types of things he did, overreach etc, those happened in prior presidencies.

The only other thing I can think of is that Obama was elected kind of in line with the dawn of the 24/7 news cycle and mainstream of the internet.

He took over in the midst of the crisis and when he turned over the reigns unemployment was rock bottom. In another point in favor of 'weird unexplained bias that of course couldn't be racism' conservatives like to say that Obama's numbers were over inflated because people dropped out of the workforce after giving up but apparently, when Trump took over all of those people flooded back in AND the numbers stayed low so its really all because of him. Which is an insane set of mental gymnastics designed to hate Obama and love Trump. [/b]
