Yes, people do lie about not really needing benefits. There is more pride in being a cheat than being a loser in some circles. Have you ever lived in a poor place?

Op here. This is so bizarre that she would be lying about cheating welfare. She gave me lots of details about how she cheated so I think she's really committing fraud. I don't feel comfortable working with her anymore and I am not sure how to go about telling church. My daughter is in the same classroom so I think it may be tricky changing to another room. Not PP, but another PP who has found this story extremely fishy. Regardless of whether she is telling the truth about fraud or not, I think it’s not unreasonable to mention to your pastor or whoever that you are uncomfortable working with someone who brags about fraud. She may be lying, but the bragging about lying really has no place in a church nursery, you know?[/quote]
