He is a 2nd grader applying in the round meant for 3rd through 8th graders. He is not eligible to enter into AAP mid year, which is what the October round is for (That is why this round includes 8th graders, for mid year admission). The correct round for a 2nd grader is the January round. [/quote] "Not eligible....at this time" is what they say for kids who don't make it. They use "at this time" because you can always reapply. For those who get in they say "eligible."[/quote]
