Is there a parent of current 12th grade Holton student willing to show your DC's stats? I'd love to see it. Full disclosure - my DC is a MoCo magnet senior.
I highly doubt anyone, including you should post stats and try to one up your kids. It is a confidentiality issue and super childish. Your DC would be embarrassed of you.
I didn't read that as trying to one up the kids, just someone interested in data. DD has an ACT above 33 and an UW GPA of 3.9+. There are plenty of high stats kids, but I couldn't tell you the class averages. The school profile with class of 2017 data is linked below. As the student stated above, there is no grade inflation. It's not unusual for girls to get a B or B+ in an AP class and still score a 5. http://www.holton-arms.edu/uploaded/documents/US/holton_school_profile_sy2018.pdf
Am I reading this report correctly? It sites an average ACT composite score of 31 and not the 33 or 34 thrown out by posters. It also references 6 NMSF students and not the 38 or 41 mentioned previously. This is from the school, correct, and not some second had source? Perhaps that original posters should restate their starting position on the subject under the circumstances. A meaningful discrepancy exists.
