It's so f#cking amazing and a great place to bring kids. The safest country I've ever visited, incredible food, and just generally easy to get around without a car.\ It's my favorite place to ski, too. 90 minutes from Tokyo on the bullet train and there's multiple ski towns with 18" of fresh powder.
