China. Too far and I have way more places to hit on my list before China.

I like most places. New Orleans and Grand Canyon, not liked by a lot here, are favorites of mine. I hiked the Canyon rim to rim and it was phenomenal. If I simply stuck to the crowded South Rim overlooks I may not have enjoyed it as much. New Orleans, which I haven't been to since Katrina, is one of my favorite U.S. cities. U.S. cities that didn't impress me were San Antonio and Los Angeles. San Antonio, which I went to for work, was nice enough, but I don't see how it rates as a vacation spot. L.A. has plenty to do, but seemed too chaotic, which is weird since I love NYC, and not friendly at all.

Agree. Lots of family in Colorado and they always joke that nobody from Colorado would ever be caught dead there.

New Orleans has one of the most fascinating histories in America, with a mix of several different cultures having staked a claim there over the years. Very deep culture there. Port cities always have the best history.

Haha. Ok. I didn't like one city and that makes me "very shallow and unknowledgable."

I have no interest in Australia. Too far, too many insects/animals that could easily kill you, and the Aussie accent drives me nuts. Also, the food isn’t appealing.

I’d much rather spend the time and money somewhere like Southeast Asia, which is the very top of my bucket list (Thailand/Cambodia/Vietnam). Right below that is Ecuador, Peru and Colombia. Some day...

Japan is AMAZING. Clean, safe, super easy to get around. The food is out of this world delicious. It was all around one my favorite places to visit.

We just got back from our 2nd trip to Japan in a year. It's so f#cking amazing and a great place to bring kids. The safest country I've ever visited, incredible food, and just generally easy to get around without a car.\

It's my favorite place to ski, too. 90 minutes from Tokyo on the bullet train and there's multiple ski towns with 18" of fresh powder. Ridiculous!!!

I too would rather go to New Zealand than Australia.

Why all the lack of love for Australia? Is it the length of the trip, or are you all pale people who don't like the beach period?

I’m pretty open to going anywhere but places in the Middle East and Africa interest me the least-though I do want to go to Morocco and Tanzania.

My extended family's plan always involves Vegas. I've been there 5 times and I'm only 36. The last time was for a week...which is way way too long.

So for those of you who haven't been, I would recommend going once for about 3 nights. That should get it out of your system forever.

Anyplace cold. iceland . Las Vegas.

Zero interest in India.
Very little interest in Hawaii. If I'm going to fly that far I'd rather go to a different island or somewhere in Asia.
