Interesting- I actually didn't like New Orleans at all. And I'm neither a fussy nor judgmental traveler. I just didn't find it that beautiful and interesting.
New Orleans has one of the most fascinating histories in America, with a mix of several different cultures having staked a claim there over the years. Very deep culture there. Port cities always have the best history.
You're probably a very shallow unknowledgable person.

Japan is AMAZING. Clean, safe, super easy to get around. The food is out of this world delicious. It was all around one my favorite places to visit.

I’m pretty open to going anywhere but places in the Middle East and Africa interest me the least-though I do want to go to Morocco and Tanzania.
Not really interested in Australia either, though would love to go to New Zealand.
