Seems like a majority are thriving given the great test scores.  McLean parents wouldn't settle for less.

There's bound to be kids/parents who don't do well and don't adjust well whether the school is in McLean, Great Falls, Vienna, Oakton, or wherever.

I just have to say that there is some person on this blog that repeatedly until their dying breath supports KGES as if they are in real estate or have something to lose. They will spare no insult to any of us who have a different opinion. I've got some exceedingly bright children and some normal kids and I've had issues with each and every one within public schools and specifically at KGES. The more I talk about it, the more I find other parents with similar situations. It seems to me that you need a wakeup call instead of belittling parents/students.[/quote]
