This post is supposed to be a joke, right?
I think she bases it on the fact that KGES was #84 on a list of composite SOL scores for 100 NoVa schools, lower than any other McLean ES. There are more than 100 ES in NoVa, however, and other schools weren't included on the list.
Some school has to have the lowest score in McLean on a standardized test. KGES is never at the top, but isn't always at the bottom, either.

Seems like a majority are thriving given the great test scores. McLean parents wouldn't settle for less.
There's bound to be kids/parents who don't do well and don't adjust well whether the school is in McLean, Great Falls, Vienna, Oakton, or wherever.

They will spare no insult to any of us who have a different opinion. I've got some exceedingly bright children and some normal kids and I've had issues with each and every one within public schools and specifically at KGES. The more I talk about it, the more I find other parents with similar situations. It seems to me that you need a wakeup call instead of belittling parents/students.
Did you stay in the public schools? If so, how did you feel about Longfellow MS and McLean HS?
