She has enough financial stability that I'm sure she would quit rather than give up her multiple vacations per year.  We use family members to cover for her vacations and that allows us to keep her.
Also assure your mother that there will be lots of time you will visit her, and she can visit, even when you are not using her for free child care.[/quote]
