But if it is, it inadvertently confirms the story. Otherwise he should have claimed "fake news", or "unnamed sources". The worst part is that this claim would not help him in a court of law. the evidence is no more or less admissible even if the Fox News allegations are true. Also, it won't be clear to the public why this deserves classification. The only apparent purpose it serves is to shield the President from scrutiny that he has earned. The reports have not revealed sources and methods, and there appears to be no impact ongoing intelligence activity, other than the Trump investigation itself.[/quote]
