There are plenty of people without tattoos who are racists, they just? don't advertise it, but live their whole life along those lines (white neighborhood, white schools, white fitness clubs, basically token minorities only here and there in their life). You would never know, but openly expressing one guy will ruin the experience? [/quote]

+1.  As a mom of mixed race kids myself, I would much rather know that someone is a tool and avoid them than invest time and energy only to find out later.   [/quote]
You're the perfect example why white people should really educate themselves about race relations before having mixed race kids. You might not realize it now, but your kids will judge you for this kind of attitude (if they don't already.)
