Every time the topic of coordinating sibling names comes up I feel the need to chime in. These babies will grow up and become autonomous adults who will not reside in their sibling orbit for all time. You do not need to coordinate your kids names into some cursor pattern. If you want to do it, fine, but please realize this is not necessary and will likely have no impact on your family dynamic or enjoyment of each other.
My brother and I are Matthew and Michelle. Our dog was Micki. It was fine as children and it's fine as adults. We had a couple of "I think this is your mail; no this is definitely YOUR mail" incidents, but it's no big deal.
It gets worse when it's higher numbers. I knew a family that was Debbie, Diana, Donna and David. Dad was Dick. Mom of course doesn't matter in these creepy families, so her name didn't begin with a D.
