This is common for students who attended expensive schools.  The students have spent (or their parents have) a lot of money on the school and the school tells them over and over again how special they are to attend the school.  You eventually start believing it and you think the school is amazing and so worth it.  I remember my private elementary school doing this.  I was maybe 6 and they would tell us how special we were to attend and how fortunate our parents spent the money and valued education.  It's a form of brainwashing.  [/quote]
