Doesn't matter. If the government can't force me to give up my bodily autonomy to save another, then that's sacrosanct. When you bring in "but your choices!" at that point you are legislating pregnancy and childbirth as punishment for having sex that you don't want me to have.

It legislates another human being's body and life, which is unacceptable, rooted in the patriarchal premise that fetal cells are somehow more important than the life and well-being of the woman on whom its life potential depends. But it is not life, only potential, therefore is the woman's decision to make based on whatever factors are important to her.  Once the fetus is viable outside the womb, that is another story, and there are laws that account for that (indeed well before).  [/quote]
