The GOP has done far worse over many decades and they NEVER apologize. Not hurting them. Why should we give them ammo they will twist and use to plunge their knife of lies deeper and deeper. No weakness. We need strong leaders right now to be out there, meeting with voters and focusing on (1) the GOP's incompetence and overreach and (2) the work Dems will do for voters. No flowery language or rhetoric. No lecturing. Simple slogans that appeal to people on basic issues.[/quote]
