If he's tried as a juvenile, they generally won't be made public.

Trying a juvenile as an adult requires, among other things, a showing that the juvenile sufficient cognitive capacity to understand their crimes as an adult would. That's why you don't see 10 yos being charged as adults, kids generally need to get into their teens before courts will start considering them to have that kind of cognitive capacity. Depending on the nature of this boy's mental illness, the prosecutor may know that there's no chance of demonstrating that he had that kind of cognitive capacity at the time of the murders.[/quote]
