We know kids that took offers late summer. Ivy WL are different. There aren’t relatively that many on them and the kids on them are interchangeable with those accepted. It’s a “just not enough spots”. You might have out if 50k applicants under 1k on a WL and sometimes none to 100 or so are admitted, The school that wants you trope is ego. A kid if that caliber has many many options and anyone would love to have them. [/quote]
