I'm guessing this tryout season will be more chaotic than the last couple of years for the reason above, combined with a mistaken belief that being affiliated with M&D will be a magic connection when it comes to recruiting, even though it hasn't helped other satellites.

Remember Pride Red 2028 won Summer Genesis Origins in their last tournament and finished ranked #7.  That team had good high school coaches that parents and players liked, and still, almost every single player on that team tried out for Capital due to the recruiting track record. Maybe the communication is more team-oriented at M&D DC than prior years with feeder clubs to Capital, but I wouldn't bet the house on that.  Individual families will make decisions based on their perceived best interest for their players.[/quote]
