How many kids in the dmv are going to get multiple offers to join MLS academies elsewhere?
All those other academies have good players in their own regions.

You think its advice to tell all of us here whos kid won't even be invited to DC Academy that we should be considering other academies? 
The majority of us can't even get into SYC or Achilles.

Ok...  SOME or a FEW kids are on the USYNT, from U15 though u19, that are from MD/VA and are playing for academies that is not DCU.  Kids that would have been at DCUA if they had no other option.

MANY kids from the DMV are spread out across the US playing on different Academy teams.
