the point of posting this is there is a poster who consistently posts the rankings and always talks about high ranking the soccer team is. Rankings only go so far. Winning is good too.[/quote]

The team was ranked high because they won a lot of games. They lost in the final because their two best players had another obligation.

Sidwell's athletic program did just fine I'd say. Boys soccer was ranked in the top 10 in the Post and Girls soccer was ranked #2 in the Post. There wasn't another school with two teams in the top 10 of the two sports.[/quote]
