America is not a nation of immigrants. Immigrants have decided to come to an established nation. This is a nuance but important. Not all Americans are descendant from immigrants. Does our history not matter?[/quote]

A set of Europeans (mostly if not all Englishmen) established the nation. Oh and they brought over some in the hullls of ships to build the economy. None of the descendants of these two groups are immigrant. You can't be an immigrant in a country you literally built from scratch on paper and with your hands. [/quote]
