Except they won't come back in the exact same way -- I bet most of your old capris won't look the same as the new ones being sold, in a way that will be obvious to people (also capris are always unflattering so, why). The better tip is to invest in classic styles that are less subject to the whims of fashion. You can keep a pair of midnight black pants that fit at your waist (neither low nor high rise) and a straight leg, for 40+ years and they won't go in or out of fashion. Limit your trendy items to maybe one or two purchases a year, but mostly buy things that will stand the test of time, and then you won't find yourself with a time capsule closet, hoping cold shoulder tops come back in fashion.[/quote]
