As an actual member of a first family (actually a few) in Virginia, not too many people inside of Virginia care  either, nor should they… sorry to change topics, just felt like this needed clarifying. NP here. But I think it contributes to the overwhelming privilege this woman has due to her genetics (white, UC, regionally well known family name, etc) for her to get initially arrested on probably what was a lesser charge than she should have (unlawful undressing as opposed to a sex crime), to have the ability to get that dismissed on appeal (she was initially convicted in absentia, she didn’t show up for the initial trial so she was found guilty), and then for the coverage of such a heinous more recent crime to be so little. If she was practically anyone else, she’d still be in jail for what she did in 2019 and on the sex offender registry. So yeah, her genetics matter here. [/quote]
