They would want him to face jail time. I've been thinking about why some people are so quick to defend this guy. I think some people see themselves in this guy, a non black person, and so they they defend him. They could maybe see themselves in this guy, and of course, would want people to not be so harsh. If he was black, they would probably be the first to claim he should get jail time since they have no idea what it is like to be a black man. It's all about empathy and being able to see through the lens of a different person.[/quote]
