[/quote] This is definitely a thing including here in DC-land. It's such a scam. I teach an honors level science class to mostly high school juniors. Across 90 kids, I started with about 10 kids with 504 plans for extended time, only two of whom actually need it and actually have some learning challenges. And amazingly, this fall, as[i] juniors[/i], I had 5 additional kids qualify for 504 plans due to "anxiety". They all had straight As, no educational impact. Like seriously? What BS. You clearly just want extended time on your ACT/SAT tests. It's a total parental scam and it pisses me off.[/quote]
