I doubt any of them will got to jail and most will probably be let off with a misdemeanor at most.

Hopefully the schools will take action and remove the students.

The parents knowingly committed the crime of:

- Falsifying their kids test scores
- Purchasing a spot of admittance in what is supposed to be a merit-based application process
- Bribing inter-state officials
- Hiding their payments as a charity donation (committing a felony)
- Wire fraud and mail fraud in doing so

They deserve everything that is coming to them.

As for the Apple analogy it would be commercial bribery in 36 states

No read the whole transcript. CW-1 told him they'd have to get her diagnosed with disability that would entitle her to extra time on the exam (because that's how they can do the exam in a location where they can use the fake tester). He mentioned that "all the wealthy families are doing this, so it isn't an even playing field anyway." Sound familiar?

This is such a travesty for kids who actually have learning differences.

This is definitely a thing including here in DC-land. It's such a scam. I teach an honors level science class to mostly high school juniors. Across 90 kids, I started with about 10 kids with 504 plans for extended time, only two of whom actually need it and actually have some learning challenges. And amazingly, this fall, as juniors, I had 5 additional kids qualify for 504 plans due to "anxiety". They all had straight As, no educational impact. Like seriously? What BS. You clearly just want extended time on your ACT/SAT tests. It's a total parental scam and it pisses me off.
