I think of myself as decent with language (always got straight As in English, etc) and I don’t know that I could have come up with that delicately worded request to the flight attendant that a PP crafted... all while I was exhausted and stressed from travel and furious that I was placed in that situation in the first place. If they had any intention of switching then they would have done that before watching her uncomfortably squash in next to them, and you know it. And even then, she would have been unacceptably squashed on one side.

And there was no guarantee that the flight attendant would have switched her. They allowed those people to hoard in the first place so I could forgive the woman for not believing that they would recognize the problem and switch her. And she only called them pigs when SHE was rudely attacked by other people. Prior to that, she referred to the only as “big”.[/quote]
