BWAHAHAHA!!!  "Way off base" with a WISC in the 140s?  The post states that a student with scores in the 140s would likely be ok with lower GBRS.

I don't understand this.  If a kid's score is not a big factor why put them thro test.  A test is a test to exhibit what they possess. 
Be it a fluke.  Every test is like that.  Anyways, how many kids actually get that kind of score with real LUCK.  If one outof say 20 
Kids get in by luck, so be it.

Magnet schools pickbkids by lottery system.  They don't make a big deal about it.  I would rather give weightage to scores and
Report cards rather than a teacher's subjective GBRS.
