Jamie let Brienne go try to get the Blackfish to surrender Riverrun peacefully and come with her to Sansa. When she failed to do so, the Blackfish gave her and Pod a chance to escape by the river. Jamie saw them but let her go. She is heading back to serve and protect Sansa. That little wave between Brienne and Jamie was so touching. Cersi brings out the worst in Jamie; Brienne brings out the best. A part of him still wants to be as honorable as Brienne is. [/quote]
