The parents are certainly at fault, but so is the high school. And the school district is going to be sued probably as early as next week, likely class action.[/quote]

Listen to the full interview. That's a Pulitzer prize winning reporter interviewing the former chief of police for City of Detroit and chief of police for Detroit Public Schools. He says the school resource officer should have been in both interviews and looped into the boy's conduct. That did not happen. Had the officer been looped in, the boy would have been searched. It's a really insightful interview.[/quote]
