The vaccines work for what they were made for - to lessen the impact on covid for you if you were to catch it.  They were never fully intended to stop you from getting covid.  It was about reducing symptoms that might lead to death.  You still need masks.  Covid doesn't just stop existing because you are wishing it away.  Covid doesn't stop existing because people choose not to believe they can catch it.[/quote]

Right. The vaccines do a remarkably good job of turning COVID into basically a cold in vast majority of people. We never masks over colds, or during flu season. It doesn't make sense to keep mandating masks now that everyone over 5 can be vaccinated, and higher risk adults can be boosted.[/quote]
