Really? Because I can see them getting in a fight, her running away and him doing something stupid like just driving the van home and not reporting her missing or looking for her. And only now realizing he could be responsible for her death. They don't seem like the sharpest tools [/quote]

SMH. Sure, fine he's not a sharp tool. What about his parents? They couldn't bother reporting Gabby missing or getting on plane to look for her? I'm going to go out on a limb here and suggest they possess enough curiosity to have asked where Gabby was when he abruptly returned without her to their former residence with the van they were traveling in. Then, he told the truth or gave a fishy answer, and they got a lawyer. I'm sure he's in the wild burying evidence and resisting arrest.
