You are either clueless or dishonest.  It's been repeatedly proven that most of the fentanyl IS NOT being "muled by illegals" but via the ports of entry.

Further, it's also a FACT that HR2, which Republicans have been touting, WOULD NOT ADDRESS the fentanyl smuggling.  In fact, the word fentanyl doesn't even appear anywhere in HR2.  You can do a full-text search and see for yourself: https://www.congress.gov/bill/118th-congress/house-bill/2/text

The Bipartisan Border Bill on the other hand RECOGNIZES the reality of fentanyl smuggling at the ports of entry and proposes to improve staffing, technology, screening and detection specifically for fentanyl and other drugs.  Additionally, it proposes a number of other actions, such as putting SANCTIONS on China for subsidizing fentanyl and fentanyl precursors, along with going after the financial networks of organizations involved in fentanyl production and trafficking.  HR 2 does none of that.  Yet here you are having the balls to complain about fentanyl when YOUR SIDE killed the bill that would have gone after it.[/quote]

Whether it’s Americans carrying foreign fentanyl across the border or illegals, the fact is that the number of people being allowed to cross the border makes enforcement that much more difficult. And that enforcement falls to the executive, and that’s Biden. That’s his job. He can’t throw up his hands and blame someone else.
