When Trump was president, we were all locked in our houses as he completely fumbled the pandemic response and told us to drink bleach. The streets of NYC were lined with refrigerated trucks filled with dead bodies. It was horrific but hey! Groceries and gas were cheap (supply and demand) so let’s bring all that back!

Much of what yoi mentioned was simply riding Obama’s coattails. Remember that the first 9 months of a presidency is the predecessor’s fiscal year.
