DNC isn't a government entity.  Plus, it has been reported they tried to hack the RNC...but the RNC believes in security obviously:

That doesn't address that the Trump camp is ok with a foreign state is hacking US institutions and collaborating and coordinating the results with the US public. you can't say that is ok and then chastise a private foreign citizen from leaking his work product to various news organizations, one of which, decided to publish it with disclaimers that it was unverified.
